President's Scholarship

Honors Fee Award:
$325 for 12+ credit hours a semester
$244 for 9 - 11 credit hours a semester
$163 for 6 - 8 credit hours a semester
$81 for 3 - 5 credit hours a semester

Honors Verification Form:
Honors students not taking an Honors-Only class must verify that their instructors are aware of your need to take their class for "Honors Credit". An Honors Verification Form needs to be filled out completely, signed by the instructor and student, and turned into the Honors Office. This form also verifies that you have discussed the honors project and requirements for your class. Also note:
- SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS WILL NOT BE AWARDED UNTIL THIS FORM IS RETURNED.
- Verification Form Due Date for Spring 2009 is Friday February 6, 2009
- Return the completed form to the Honors Office in the Social and CulturalSciences Building (#14) OR to the Enrollment Services Office in the Mesquite Building (#5) at the Red Mountain Campus.
It is the student’s responsibility to make sure the form is turned in

Other Honors Program Scholarships
In December of 2008, applications for three Maricopa County Community College District Honors Program scholarships will be available in the Honors Department Office (SC14). Completed applications are due in the Honors Office by 5:00 pm, Friday, February 27, 2009.
Additional Opportunities for Financial Aid
Mesa Community College offers a variety of scholarship and grant options to students. Contact our Financial Services for more information or for assistance in applying for financial aid. Last year MCC awarded $34,000,000 in federal financial aid and $2,700,000 in scholarships.
