Marquee Request Information

General Information
Mesa Community College at Southern and Dobson has two marquees available for use. One is located on Dobson Road near the freeway, the other is located on Southern Avenue near the football field.

*MCC at Red Mountain has a marquee in Acacia Village available for use. For information about the marquee at Red Mountain, call 480-654-7702.

There are five lines available on each side of the marquee. Each line can fit approximately 17 characters (this includes spaces between words and punctuation). Large letters take more space (for example M, W, D) which will give you less space per line as will the use of all CAPS.

Up to 4 different messages can be displayed at one time (one message per side). The length a message will stay on the marquee will depend on how many requests are received for the same time period.

Requests for Marquee
• Please request marquee no later than 2 weeks before event
• Please specify when you would like the message to appear (start date, stop date)
• Please specify what marquee you would like the message to appear on (ie Dobson Road, or Southern Avenue) and which side (North, South, East, West)

Name of Event (if title is long, it can flow down to line 2)

Location of Event
Contact information (need a phone number for people to call if they want more information on the event)

Reservation Timeline
Maintenance and Operations changes the marquee once a week. The request to change the message is sent every Monday morning. Please submit marquee requests no later than two weeks before the event. The requests will be evaluated on a first come, first serve basis.
