Lynn Badertscher is a Speech Communication Instructor and Project Director of The Community Connection Service-Learning Center at Fresno City College. She has been a non-profit agency director, communication consultant, CSU faculty member, and for the last eight years, a teacher at Fresno City College. She has been using Service-Learning in her classes for more than ten years. In 2000 she participated in the CCNCCC S-L 100 Institute. In 2001, she wrote for and received a CCCCO Service-Learning Institutionalization grant. She and her colleagues opened the Service-Learning office at Fresno City College in Fall, 2001.
