Ms. Genea Stewart works at Kingsborough Community College of the City University of New York as a Service-Learning Coordinator. Since completing her corps member commitment with Teach For America- Philadelphia in 2005, she has worked for Junior Achievement of New York, Inc. as a Secondary Education Program Manager and the Achievement First charter school network as a Teacher Recruiter. In her current role, Ms. Stewart works with faculty, community partners, and students to assist each in maximizing their S-L experience. Ms. Stewart also represents the college as part of a PA-NY Campus Compact regional consortium of community college service-learning programs. These duties combine her special interests in relationship building, youth empowerment and program development.
