The must-sees of November

Expectations are high for November’s films, and the offerings available to audiences are intriguing. Everything from family to action films will be available.

Bruce Willis stars in director M. Night Shyamalan's "Unbreakable," opposite Samuel L. Jackson and Robin Wright Penn. "Unbreakable" opens nationwide Nov. 22.

Fall’s films, most notably with the box-office failure of "Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2," have failed to captivate audiences.

The following fall films just may juice up the enthusiasm of movie patrons.

Director M. Night Shyamalan’s new thriller "Unbreakable," starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson, with a co-starring role by Robin Wright-Penn, will attempt to recapture the magic stirred by Shyamalan’s mega-hit "The Sixth Sense."

The film’s captivating trailer raises quite a few questions, most notably, how could a man survive a violent train accident unscathed? "Unbreakable" will answer that question when it opens Nov. 22.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will attempt to jump-start his faltering career with "The 6th Day,"a sci-fi thriller opening Nov. 22.

This film looks to be typical action-movie territory; after the dissapointing returns of "End of Days," Schwarzenegger could definitely use a hit.

"The 6th Day" was directed by Rober Spottiswoode, best known for his directorial work on  "Tomorrow Never Dies."

Also notable is a co-starring performance by Hollywood veteran Robert Duvall.

Glenn Close reprises her role as Cruella De Vil in Disney’s followup to the family-friendly, and lucractive, "101 Dalmations," aptly titled "102 Dalmations," opening Nov. 22.

Apparently, De Vil is out of jail and has learned the error of her ways – or has she? Her hunger for dog-fur has returned with full force.

Hopefully, audiences will embrace the film with as much vigor.
