The word "recession" is terrifying when referring to the economy. But not to me. I think that it’s kind of fun.
It makes it sound like the economy is playing on the playground at recess.

The Phoenix mountains preserve arsonist is getting a lot of stuff from the media lately.
In a column featured in the ultra-conservative Arizona Republic, the writer went so far as to attack the arsonist as a ‘loser with matches.’

Greed targets students
College students are constantly strapped for cash. We sometimes count change in our car ashtrays and in between the cushions of our couches just to foot our lunch bill for the day. Bills mount, tuition bleeds us dry, rent is due, the car payment is due, insurance is due – everyone somewhere needs money from us.

Every degree from MCC has some level of math requirement attached to it. In the age of high technology, computers and calculators, math is still a pillar of the educational process. Have you had any problems with the math program, teachers or any other element of the math department?
