Stephanie Warren, MCC student, photographer and artist, will be debuting in a solo exhibit at the Neti Neti gallery on Mill Avenue, March 2.

Stephanie works closely with the band Super Sternal Notch, whose members are not only mentors, but friends.

"Super Sternal Notch is using Stephanie's work in a professional business manner," said Tim Florshuetz, MCC professor and base player for the band.

Her photos and artwork are being used in a promotional package to be sent to record companies.

"After four years, everything has just been falling into place," Warren said.

Warren describes her artwork as a combination of ecclectic multi-media and expressionism.

Her collection for the exhibit consists of a number of black and white shots of Super Sternal Notch, who will be playing at the opening.

The other pieces shown will be more photographic images, digital camera shots, ceramics, and acrylics.

"I hope to gain more business while exposing myself to the elements," she said of the upcomming exhibit.

Robin Bundy, owner of the Neti Neti Gallery, tries to support college artists in the area. "She (Warren) is very passionate and isn't scared to try new things.

Her technique is good and she has lots of vision," Bundy said.

Warren will be graduating, in May from MCC, with an AA degree in computer/art illustration.

The Neti Neti Gallery is located at 1020 S. Mill Ave., in Tempe. For more information, call (480) 966-2055.
