Jazz great to visit MCC
In honor of Black History Month, the MCC Music Department will host speaker /performer Jimmy Heath. Heath will lecture at noon, followed by a concert with the Mesa Big Band at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 13. All that Jazz
The MCC Jazz Ensemble and Desert Mountain Jazz Ensemble will be performing at Desert Mountain High School, Wednesday Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. For more information, call the MCC Music Department at (480) 461-7575.

On Wednesday Feb. 27, the MCC Music Department will host the MCC Jazz Combo Forum in MU-14 at 2:30 p.m. For more information, call the MCC Music Department at (480) 461-7575.


'Out to Lunch'
"Out to Lunch," a concert series presented by the Mesa Arts Center, will be held from noon to 1 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday in February.

The exciting, ecclectic collection of artists playing at Mesa Centennial Plaza this month will be: Monte Procopio, on Feb. 12, OperaTunity, on Feb. 14, Sid Hausman on Feb. 19, Nosotros on Feb. 21, The Denise Martin Quartet on Feb. 26, and Greg Sarena on Feb. 28.
