Helping Out

Gift Wrapping
Volunteers from Save the Family, a non-profit organization, will be wrapping gifts at Fiesta Mall. All proceeds will help provide transitional housing, case management and supportive services to homeless families with children throughout the Valley.

The volunteers will be available to wrap presents during regular mall hours on Dec. 9, 18 and 24. For more information, visit www.savethefamily.org or call (480) 898-0220.

Petfinder.com
Would you like to have a pet, but simply don’t have the time or the money? Are you looking to do volunteer work that is both fun and rewarding?

Check out Petfinder.com, the oldest and largest virtual animal shelter. Visitors to Petfinder can click on a link that lets them enter their contact information and what kind of jobs they would like to do.

Shelters and rescue groups can then directly access this information to find potential volunteers in their area. Shelters are looking for people to socialize with pets, do fund raising and more.

Petfinder.com is free to visitors as well as shelters and rescue groups.
