The Sundome
Jan. 19 a trio of Broadway singers and an 11-member big band
will pay tribute to Frank Sinatra. "Our Sinatra" will begin at 7:30
p.m.
Copper Quill
The Copper Quill Awards might be the portfolio builder that
you have been looking for.
Stuff the Bus
Starting Jan. 14 the Valley Metro bus service will have improvements
including local bus schedules and routes with more frequent service
and later hours in Phoenix, Sunday and holiday service in Scottsdale,
and eight extended routes in several cities.
Hoop Dance
The 12th Annual World Championship Hoop Dance Contest will take
place Feb. 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Heard Museum.

December 4
A 1989 GMC pickup was stolen from the west lot prior to 3 p.m.,
according to the owner of the vehicle.
December 8
An employee reported that her 15 inch Compaq monitor, valued at
$499, was stolen from her locked office in the library.
December 10
Material deemed objectionable and possibly unlawful, was viewed
in the library by a male student.
A certified college officer responded and asked the student to leave.
Information on this situation was reported to Mesa Police.
The Mesa officers said they would notify the F.B.I. to determine
the legality of the material.
December 13
A 1998 Nissan 4X4 was reported stolen from the northeast parking
lot. The owner estimated the truck’s value at $5,520, including
its contents.
