A cloud of dust rises from a swirling crowd, a sea of people stir in one fluid movement. Onstage the reason for the organized chaos projects blaring music into the mass of humanity and into the night sky. Lit only by colored lights hanging 30 feet over head, the quick snap of flashbulbs and the glow of cigarettes, the band tells its punk rock tales to the mass of enthralled fans.

 
Irish celebrate heritage & spirit with parade, fair

Phoenix became a little bit more Irish March 15, when the 20th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade came rolling through town. More than 50,000 people filled the streets along Central Avenue between Thomas Road and Margaret T. Hance Park, making it one of the largest parades in Phoenix history.
 

New clubhouse draws crowds

Drum beats and guitar rifts filled the air this past month as a new and happening club opened its doors to the public. The Clubhouse opened with bands such as The Necronauts, Drag River and Steppchild to kick off the festivities.
