Sharks, spaceships and bugs, oh my!
May is many things to many people, for some it signals the end of
school, but for the Central Arizona Museum Association it is a time
to thank the community for all that it has given to these unique
institutions. The program is a month long celebration of the diversity
of Arizona's museums.
Learning Schools not out for summer
For all those who did not do so well this semester, or those who
just want to get a jump on next year, summer school registration
is going on now. A wide variety of classes are being offered to
those who choose to bear the heat and come to school.
Vamos A Mexico!
With the days getting longer and classes winding down, it is time
to make plans for summer. The Xalpa Summer program for practicing
and aspiring educators and social workers is a program that will
familiarize participants with the Mexican public service system
within their areas of study, while being immersed in the Spanish
language and Mexican culture.
Events Care for your Ears
May is better speech and hearing month in Arizona. The audiology
department at the Arizona School of Health Sciences is taking advantage
of better speech and hearing month to honor audiologists across
the state and to make the public aware of simple things they can
do to preserve their hearing.
