Spotlight  "Building a foundation for the road ahead," is the theme of this year's graduating class.
Congratulations will be handed out by the thousands as many students are taking the opportunity to receive a certificate from MCC. Some students travel further onto universities but this select few will be leaving our campus with diplomas.

The day will begin at 7a.m. with a rehearsal for the participants and performers. Several esteemed speakers will offer their own advice and knowledge as the night unfolds. Music will be performed live by students and staff.

Brandon Moak, the class honor speaker will present a speech coinciding with the theme. The graduates will have the opportunity to have a picture taken with MCC’s President, Dr. Larry K. Christiansen, shortly after they receive their certificates.

Over 1600 applications for certificates were submitted for the ‘02-‘03 school year. However only about 200 are expected to participate in the graduation ceremonies.

The ceremony takes place on May 16, at 8 p.m. in the John D. Riggs Stadium. Following the clapping and crying, a banquet in honor of the graduates will be held in the Navajo room. Success will be celebrated with a live band.
