Play Wright's Showcase
Once again MCC's Theater Department calls for actors and actresses to perform on the Theatre Outback's stage.

Auditions for the Playwright's Showcase which will contain 10 plays written and directed by students will be held on May 5 and 6 from 3:30–5 p.m. and 7–9p.m.

All interested should report to the Green Room, in the Theatre Outback. For more information call (480) 461-7170.

Design Speaks Volumes
The ASU Campus Environment Team donated a grant to the senior graphic design students helping to fund an art showcase set up to display their work. With the help of these funds the show will become a reality, with over 28 collective works all of which originated from a photo documentary.

The exhibit is open to the public and is free of charge. The show is being held in the Downtown Phoenix Technology Exchange located at 120 East Van Buren Street in Phoenix. The exhibit runs from May 9–16.

For more information call (480) 965-4135.

Sharks, spaceships and bugs, oh my!
May is many things to many people, for some it signals the end of school, but for the Central Arizona Museum Association it is a time to thank the community for all that it has given to these unique institutions.

The program grew from National Museum Day, which takes place on May 18, into the month long celebration of the diversity of Arizona's museums. This year marks the seventh year that valley museums have participated in these festivities.

To participate in this year's events, pick up a free Culture Passport at Robinsons-May stores, that can be redeemed for 2 for one admissions or special gifts. Passport holders will also have a chance to win a $500 Robinsons-May shopping spree.

For information about the participating museums lookup www.azcama.com or call (602) 251-0209 extension 6414.
