Religious Forum
Come to the "Discovering the Differences" lecture series where the differences of Mormonism and Biblical Christianity will be discussed from noon–1 p.m. on Oct. 31 in the Kiva Room of the Kirk Center.

See a collection of short, often violent and usually politically incorrect cartoons at Spike and Mike's Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation at the Harkin's Valley Art Theater from Oct. 18-Nov. 9.

Theatre Outback
Come and see "Carousel," the classic play with music by Rogers and Hammerstein at the Theater Outback. The performance times are Oct. 31-Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 3 at 2 p.m.

The Mesa Arts Center is now offering low cost alternative exhibition space to local artists and artist groups. Exhibitions may be on view for up to one month.

The Fall 2002 Dance Concert takes place at the Theatre Outback on Nov. 7 and 8 at 7:30 p.m.

ASMCC Reception takes place at the Kirk Student Center, Navajo Room on Nov. 9 at 2 p.m.

President's Homecoming Tailgate Barbecue takes place on Nov. 9 at 4 p.m. at the grass area east of the Bookstore.

Sept. 26
Bookstore employees noticed a subject walking through the store with a backpack, acting suspiciously. They felt that he had possibly attempted to conceal a packaged cell phone in his backpack. Certified college safety officers responded and determined that the non students had probably noticed he was being watched and stashed the phone behind some books at the rear of the store. The subject was identified, escorted off campus, and asked not to return.

Sept. 26
A student in PS2N complained of difficulty breathing. Mesa Fire Department paramedics responded and had her transported to Desert Samaritan Hospital by ambulance.

Sept. 28
Two students were involved in a minor non injury accident in lot 2 at the Red Mountain campus. One vehicle was backing from a parked position when it struck the other vehicle.

Sept. 30
A student riding a bicycle was struck by a Chevrolet SUV near the north entrance to the campus. Mesa Fire Department paramedics treated the student at the scene. He complained of back pain and was transported by ambulance to Desert Samaritan Hospital as a precaution.

Sept. 30
A male non student was observed masturbating in the PS men's restroom by a male student. The student was only able to provide a clothing description to College Safety. Certified officers contacted the suspect in the southwest parking lot and determined that he had no legitimate business on campus. Since a positive identification of the suspect could not be made, he was warned to stay off of campus.

Oct. 1
A student reported that his chrome Antelope GT bicycle was stolen from the EF bike rack sometime between 7:30 and 10:20 a.m. The cable securing the bike had been cut by the unknown suspect and left at the scene.

Oct. 1
A Student reported that between 7:30 and 11:15 a.m. his black 1995 Honda Accord was stolen from the southwest parking lot. There is no suspect information available. The theft was reported to the Mesa Police Department.
