Explore Eroticism
Yuriko Nishimura, in her master of fine arts thesis show “Ganyomilin,” explores eroticism from unique perspectives. This exhibition features stone and bronze sculptures that are ambiguous and explicit in nature.

World Championship
Be awed by the athletisim and grace of the best hoop dancers competing for the title of World Champion. With men and women aging from the ages of 2-60, and the daily colorful “Grand Entry” the event has become one of the Heard Art Museum’s signature events.

Browse a selection of more than 50,000 used books in combination with many genres of art as well as music at the 7th Annual Heard Museum Guild Library Book and Art Sale. There are books in every category along with a silent auction for 30 rare and unusual books.

Calling All Actors
Auditions will be taking place for a comedy dealing with the change of a shy milksop into a fearless hero after learning he only has six months to live. The performance of the production will be taking place in late February and early March at the Theatre Outback.

DEC. 9

A suspicious male was observed entering the Nursing lab by a department employee. When she went to check on the male, he quickly exited the building. Investigation revealed that he had blocked open a door on the west side of the lab and had partially undressed a female mannequin. This may be the same subject who was involved in “molesting” the same mannequin last year. He is described as a Caucasian male 6’ tall weighing 170 pounds. He had short brown hair that was curly on the top. No suspect was located on campus. The investigation is continuing.

DEC. 10
A minor non- injury accident occurred in the northeast lot when a student driver struck an unoccupied car. Information was exchanged.

DEC. 23
College Safety took delayed report of a stolen or missing Compaq CPU from the Welding Building. The computer was last seen in mid to late August. The investigation is continuing.

JAN. 2
A minor non-injury accident occurred in the northeast parking lot. Student officers assisted the drivers with exchanging information.

JAN. 2
A suspect was discovered by College Safety personnel burglarizing a vehicle in the parking garage of the Downtown Center/Centenial Way extended campus. He was detained until Mesa Police arrival. The suspect was arrested and charged with the burglary.
