Get the Complete Schedule of Activities

With each passing generation it becomes more important to remember the great lives of African American leaders. Inventors, politicians and activists alike have all made their contribution and given us reason to celebrate this month as a time of reflection and awareness.

Thus MCC's Black Student Union is sponsoring a film festival from Feb. 6–28. Featured titles include "Black History Lost, Stolen or Strayed" and "The Black West." This event will not only entertain but educate students about the important roles African Americans played through out history. The event will be held on campus and will be open to all students and the general public.

The last day of the event there will be a presentation by Cecily Morgan M.B.A who hails from the University of Maryland and will be covering "Making a Global Difference: My Sojourn Through Africa." This will be held in the Navajo room, lunch will be provided and the seating will be limited.

Come out and show your support for the generous efforts of the many speakers at this time honored tradition in the making. For specific showing times contact Multicultural Services at (480) 461-7453.
