Spotlight

Lost & Found *
A tattered book, a shiny diamond ring and a grungy gym sock all claim home to the College Safety lost and found. Feeling a little blue about the lost expensive cell phone or the 100th replacement of your house keys or just looking for that damaged Economics book? Take a trip to the south end of your beloved campus and start sifting. Now, the watchers of the valuables are not likely to let a shopping cart roll through their many “aisles” of items, but a quick run down of some specifics should be persuasion enough.

With over 400 belongings and counting the odometer on this space is coming to an over-the-hill mark. The abundance of lost articles ranges from the everyday to the downright strange. Shoes, pictures, wallets and dog food lay next to the rows and rows of unclaimed books filling up a limited space. Because of these restrictions a major college garage sale is in the works, which will evict many of students’ adored objects. Although donations will be made to many departments some may think to take a small amount of time and venture over, if just to check for that long forgotten music CD.

Even if you only claim an old, very out-dated college identification card at least what was yours, you now have once again. Ahh, the memories of community college. Even for those ten-year seniors this may be a gift giving experience, finding more than what was expected.
