Sedona
Sedona is one of the better-known tourist spots in Arizona. In fact,
it is so well-known that USA Weekend made it no. 1 among its top 10
most beautiful places in the country. There is a good reason that
Sedona receives this type of recognition, as it offers some of the
most breathtaking views and scenery in the country. Sedona is most
famous for its red rocks, not to mention its many hiking trails. However,
there is much more to Sedona than pretty rocks and spectacular views.
Sedona has plenty when it comes to shopping, arts, and culture. The
Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village features over 40 galleries and
shops and four restaurants, including the Rene' at Tlaquepaque, voted
by Sedona residents as “The best place to celebrate an occasion.”
The Sedona Arts Center has the largest collection of work from local
artists and it also sponsors many events, workshops, and art courses.
If you are looking for places to shop, you'll have shops and stores
to choose from. Among the many choices are Hoel's Indian Shop, the
Hillside Sedona shopping mall, and the Prime Outlets at Sedona.
If you're looking for a place to stay, you might need to dig deep
into your wallet if you are looking at any one of the major hotels.
Among the cheapest are the Comfort Inn (rates starting at $109 per
night) and Days Inn ($110 per night Friday and Saturday, $85 Sunday
through Thursday). Most hotel rates may vary depending on whether
your reservation is during the week or the weekend.
