district leader comes to an end Despite the considerable controversy surrounding Maricopa Community
Colleges District’s search for a new chancellor, one has been
selected. Rufus Glasper, the only candidate in the running
for the position, was named the new chancellor for the district at
the governing board’s meeting on Sept. 23 in a unanimous vote.

Most of MCC’s departments have about seven to 20 full-time teachers
and the rest are all part-time.
