PC 2, MCC 5
MCC clinched the ACCAC championship through this victory. Kristina Burris scored 3 goals, setting the record for career goals scored (41). Bridget Barrasso and Alli Landon each chipped in one.

Men's Soccer

Oct. 15 at Arizona Western College
AWC 3, MCC 1
Nagui Sabbagh scored the only goal for Mesa while Jonathon Peters had one assist.

Oct. 18 at PhoenixCollege
PC 1, MCC 5
Scott Douglas scored two goals; Brandon Leon, Luke Killpack, and Jonathon Peters each had one.

Volleyball

Oct. 15 at Yavapai Community College
YCC 3, MCC 2
Yavapai defeated Mesa 31-29 and 30-22 before Mesa came back with 35-33 and 30-27 victories over YCC. In teh final game, MCC lost 12-15.

Football

October 11 at Arizona Western College
AWC 20, MCC 37
The victory over the Arizona Western Matadors gave Mesa a 2-3 record.
The Thunderbirds had come off of their first victory of the season over New Mexico Military Academy.
Jacob Richardson led in receiving yards, 64, while Greg Mortensen threw for 174.
