Books Learning

November Dialogue Day...
A presentation given by Dr. Jorge Eagar, an MCC Spanish Professor, will be held on Nov. 18 in the Kirk Student Center’s Kiva Room. Lunch will be served with discussion about Mexican religion and devotional practices in the Southwest.

The NAACP will have Know Your Rights rehearsals in the Kiva Room in the Kirk Student Center.

Special speakers...
November is the National Education for Business Month, and this is spurring quite a few different events. Special speakers and presentations will be held throughout the month, all in room LB145.
The first speech, titled, “So you want to be a business teacher?” will be held on Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. The following day will be “Marketing your talent and education to land a great job.” “Starting your own business as a career” will be held Nov. 19 at 1 p.m.
The last in the speeches, “Personal Computer and Technology Certificates that Make You a More Competitive Job Candidate,” takes place Nov. 19 at 1 p.m.
