Space aliens, time travel and the occasional supernova will be making their way along Southern Avenue and onto campus. A new science fiction class will be offered this spring. The new three-credit course will be considered an English class, and will fulfill the literature and humanities requirements.

Fun for all…
The Native American Culinary Association is hosting a promotional conference on Dec. 10 at 4 p.m. This will be held in the Navajo Room located in the Kirk Student Center.

A little lesson...
The Art Department is holding Art History. The event will be held in LB building room 145 on Dec. 16 from 10 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. then again from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. For more information please contact (480) 461-7528.

Youths wanted...
The Mesa Youtheatre is holding auditions for a new production, "Somebody Catch My Homework." Auditions will be held Dec 1-2 starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Mesa Arts Center and call backs will be held the following Thursday, with the performance following Feb. 20 through March 7.

Homeward bound...
The Music Department is holding a “Broadway Bound” performance on Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m. the event will run until 10 p.m. For more information please contact (480) 461-7577.

Nov. 14
Two students were involved in a minor noninjury motor vehicle accident in lot “C” near the stadium.
The students exchanged required information. One of the drivers requested a written report the following day.

student reported that person(s) unknown stole her gym bag from the womens rest room at the stadium while she was in cheer practice.

A College Safety police officer served an injunction against harassment to a student in the Kirk Center. The court order stems from an assault case involving two students that occurred on campus last month.

A staff member reported that her vehicle was damaged in lot “C” south of the TC building, when it was apparently struck by another vehicle.
The other vehicle left the scene without leaving required information.

Two students were involved in a minor noninjury motor vehicle accident on the south side of campus, between lots “F” and “G.” They exchanged required information

Nov. 18
A student employee of the Mesa Legend reported that two females came into the office and stole her cell phone. College Safety officers attempted to locate the suspects on campus without success.

Nov. 19
A staff member reported that person(s) unknown had pried open a supply closet in the west gym and stole ten pairs of red Everlast boxing gloves.

Nov. 19
A student’s silver 1994 Nissan Sentra was stolen from lot “I.” Mesa Police were notified.

Nov. 20
A student discovered damage to her orange 2004 Chevrolet Caprice after she parked it in lot “C.”

Nov. 21
A student discovered person(s) unknow had stolen her gold 1993 Ford Escort from lot “C” near the stadium. Mesa PD was contacted.
