Youths wanted...
The Mesa Youtheatre is holding auditions for a new production, "Somebody Catch My Homework." Auditions will be held Dec 1-2 starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Mesa Arts Center and call backs will be held the following Thursday, with the performance following Feb. 20 through March 7.
Actors and actresses must be 16 years old to audition. For more information please contact (480) 644-2242.

Performance...
MCC Theater Department’s “The Hostage” will premier on Dec. 4 at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Theatre Outback. For more information please contact (480) 461-7165.

Auditions...
Auditions for the third installment of MCC Theatre Department "Noises Off" will be held on Dec. 10 and Dec. 11 at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the TH2 Greenroom. For more information please contact (480) 461-7165.

Take two...
MCC’s Act One Musical Productions is holding auditions for “Into the Woods” by Stephen Soundheim and James Lapine.
The auditions will begin Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. and run until finished, and will be held in the Theatre Outback. The performances will follow in March. For more information please contact, (480) 461-7165.

Fast as a turtle...
The Mesa Southwest Musuem is opening a new exhibit, Turtles: Origins to World Domination, which will be shown until early April. This will include real turtles as well as fossils. The public is invited to attend. For more information please contact (480) 664-2230.
