You are being watched – or
soon will be.
MCC is planning to install high-tech digital security cameras around
campus and in the school’s parking lots before January, a
move that college officials hope will reduce auto thefts and break-ins.
When the word “graduation” comes to mind,
most people think of accomplishments such as a high school diploma,
a bachelor’s degree from a university, or even a master’s
degree or doctorate, but many students think of community college
as a stepping stone to get to a four-year university even though
many others are graduating from MCC every semester with an associate’s
degree.
The name “Women of Courage” might cause one to think
the program is for women, but one-on-one support provided by the
Women of Courage program is for any man or woman who faces obstacles
and challenges in his or her campus
life.
One of the most quickly growing epidemics among college students is
obesity, which is attributed to physical inactivity and poor eating
habits.
