Cuisine options close to campus

The Cheba Hut
Location:1710 W. Southern Ave.
What they have: The Cheba Hut is a sandwich shop that is famous for it’s marijauna theme. The store’s theme is reflected in the name of their sandwiches ( Chronic, the Shwag, and Acapulco Gold). The average price of a meal, which includes a bag of chips and a drink, is around $6.

Fuddrucker’s
Location:1502 S. Longmore
What they have: Fuddruckers is a traditional hamburger restaurant where patrons can sit down and enjoy their lunch. An average meal costs around $7, but students who have a MCC ID card can recieve a discount. In addition to hamburgers, Fuddruckers offers freshly made shakes, malts, and desserts.

Green Burrito
Location: 6353 E. Southern Ave.
What they have : The Green Burrito offers quick mexican food for students on the go. Their menu includes mexican specialty items like fish tacos, taquitos, and fajaita salad. The also offer breakfast and dinner items. Their meals range between $4 to $5. The Green Burrito also has drive-through.

TGI Friday’s
Location: 1310 S. Longmore St.
What they have: TGI Friday’s offers a happy hour menu between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. The happy hour menu has a variety of food between $1 and $3. For students who are 21 or older, there is also a $1 to $3 drink option. Altogether, a meal and one drink wil cost at least $8.
