A gift for some...
The Psi Beta evening lecture series has begun. The next seminar will be on important topics in gifted intelligence, presented by Paul Belijan and James Webb. The lecture will focus on common behaviors of gifted people and the important concepts in the diagnosis of gifted intelligence.
Also including questions pertaining to what asynchronous development and the what the right educational approaches for those types of situations. Can those people be inappropriately diagnosed with ADD or mood disorders?
The lecture will focus on these questions and will take place April 29 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Navajo room. For more information please call (480) 838-5913.

Who has an eye...
Twenty scholarship prizes will be awarded in the range of over $1000. The theme is “How is your vision?” Posters will be based on the artist’s best interuptation of what the future will hold.
The poster must be based in a subject field and include what types of classes that would be held in the year 2020.
Deadline for entries are April 12. An application form must be submitted with the poster and some details apply. For more information please call (480) 461-7666 or (480) 461-7313.



Some extra help needed…

Need a little pick-me-up in your classes? Grades not looking as bright as before? The Learning Enhancement Center is offering free tutoring Monday through Saturday. Subjects range from accounting to biology and some languages in between.
Assistance is available only by appointment during the week, but on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., walk-ins are allowed. For more information, please call (480) 461-7678.
