Correction
In the Sept. 14 edition of the Mesa Legend, Michael Hunter, vice president of the Arizona Tax Research Association, said that a small portion of the proposed $951 million bond issue for the community college district that voters will decide on Nov. 2, will be used “for operational costs, which include funding for staff.”
All funds from the bond issue are designated for capital use only and cannot be used for operational purposes.
Additionally, Hunter’s first name was wrong in the article.
