Spotlight
Mesa Community College brought the theatre performance “Wait Until Dark” to the main campus Oct. 7-9. “Wait Until Dark” was a riveting production, originally written by Frederick Knott, and was directed at MCC at the Theatre Outback, by Bryanna Tauscher. “Wait Until Dark” was a more provocative performance than the traditional drama, romance or comedy. The tone of the play was a suspense thriller where the last half of the second act was done in the dark. In the play, Harry Roat, a sociopath con-man, recruits two recently released ex-convicts into a deadly charade of retrieving a doll stuffed with heroin. Eight players occupied the stage.
