The lady Thunderbirds suffered a 78-69 loss to Yavapai Community College after coming off a stretch of road games. Three of Mesa’s previous four games were on the road and Mesa also won three of those four contests.

The Mesa Community College women’s golf team looks forward to a run at the National Junior College Athletic Association National Title in 2005. With hard work on and off the course, maintaining a 3.37 team grade point average, MCC women’s golf maintains the discipline that head coach John Guerrero demands.

The MCC men’s basketball team improved their record to 14-5 on the season, defeating Yavapai College, 79-72, placing the Thunderbirds in third place in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference.
