The MCC Music Department along with The Music Industry Club will be hosting The First Annual Musician’s Expo.
The expo will be open to anyone who wants to wander through the booths and learn a little about the music industry and the many people that contribute to it’s success.
There will be free admission, free drinks and food, and some chances to get free gifts and giveaways from the vendors.
Who are the vendors? It could be you!
This expo is open to, of course, all MCC students, faculty and staff and also any local, regional or national music or performing arts professionals.
The vendors will be anyone who wishes to network him or herself or company.
Anything from DJ’s, equipment and instrument vendors, recording studios and entertainment lawyers to musical venues, management companies and creative services like web designers and photographers.

Even people interested in marketing their bands or themselves as individual artists can join to be a vendor.
Promoters, record labels, video production or even make up artists or caterers are welcome to join.
This expo will provide an opportunity to meet many new clients and to also meet others in the music business.
Booths are $35 for the whole day for MCC affiliated vendors and $45 for non-affiliated.
All proceeds will go to assist the MCC Music Industry Club in continuing to offer the many first-hand experiences it provides for its members.
The expo will be taking place in the Navajo Room of the Kirk Student Center from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Any student, musician, business professional or not, should take some time to glance at all the services offered by the vendors.
There is limited space available and the deadline for entering is April 12th. To get involved, call Derick Hopkins at 602-697-2855 or Zhanae Breeden at 480-570-8546.

The MCC Community Band joins with the MCC Day Band for an evening of classics on March 9 at the Mesa Arts Center.
