Above, the Navajo Room was packed with members of the community, as well as students, during the opening reception held Oct. 5. Left, Amanda Cary views the piece titled, “Victorian Rose,” Jim Garrison.
The show gave students and community members an opportunity to mingle with artists and discuss the various art mediums on display.

Venue offers musicians chance to showcase talent

Every fourth Friday of the month locals can take the opportunity to turn off the radio and see some really great musicians with their own eyes.
The MCC Music Business Program and Into the Bean coffee house have joined forces to present Songwriters Night to both students and the general public.
