Students had the opportunity to search through more than
150 employers at the Career Expo on Oct. 12. in hopes of finding a job. The
event took place in the middle of the campus and had a good response from
students. Soup, a piece of bread, and a cup of water were all given to people
who paid $10 for a hand-made bowl at the Empty Bowls event (right) on Oct.
19. All profits made were given to Paz de Cristo.

One in every four teenagers contract an STD each year.
One in two sexually active persons will contract an STD by the age of 25.
More than half of all people will have an STD at some point in his or her
lifetime.

student, Suegin Jensen, and adjunct faculty member, Sergio Maldonado. The
reception and banquet was held at the Heard Museum in Phoenix Oct. 13.
