IDEAS AND OPINIONS

Charity should be given blindly
Brittany McKee
Mesa Legend
It seems that these days, charity has taken on a whole new
meaning.
I remember when I was a child charity was about giving to those whom you knew
were in need.
It didn’t matter that you didn’t get recognized for helping, or
that your cause wasn’t the “cause of the moment.” All that
ever mattered was that in your heart you knew you did something good.

Should the FDA base their decisions on
morals or science?
Legend's View:
Plan B: needs come before politics
Should politics and personal moral viewpoints play a part
in whether or not a new drug or technology is allowed to be used or explored?
The Legend doesn’t think so and neither should you.
Community college equals no school
spirit

“No one dreams of attending a community college,”
is the excuse that many students use when asked about their lack of school
spirit.
Each day, I notice how ASU and UofA hats flood the campus. A rare percentage
of students are spotted wearing MCC apparel. The majority of the students
who do wear MCC hats and T-shirts are student athletes.
