students “a hands on” learning experience and faculty of the
college a discounted rate on automotive repairs
IDEAS AND OPINIONS
Consumers unaware of
clothing labels’ deeper meaning
Ivy Williams
Mesa Legend
I have probably seen his face more times on T-shirts,
hats and other novelties more so than Mickey Mouse’s image these days.
He’s been dead for close to forty years, yet his legacy still lives
on among T-shirts, hats, posters and the like. Perhaps you even own a shirt
or poster with his face on it. Che Guevara’s face is, well…
everywhere.

One of the most successful sports teams over the years
at Mesa Community College is ready to gear up for another season.
The Thunderbirds track and field team will return almost every athlete from
the men’s side and most from the women’s. Head Coach Steve Jacobs
hopes this will be a huge factor as they look to follow their second and
third place finishes in the region last season with an equal or better finish
this season.
