IDEAS AND OPINIONS

Legend's View:
A woman of strength
The death of Coretta Scott King on Jan. 30 was truly a sad
day, however the saddest thing of all is many did not even know what she had

I have probably seen his face more times on T-shirts,
hats and other novelties more so than Mickey Mouse’s image these days.
He’s been dead for close to forty years, yet his legacy still lives
on among T-shirts, hats, posters and the like. Perhaps you even own a shirt
or poster with his face on it. Che Guevara’s face is, well…
everywhere.

It is not unusual to walk around the campus of MCC and
see a student or eight talking away on their cell phones.

around them, in on their conversation about that crazy party from the weekend
or the tough assignment just handed down from their professor. What they
don’t know is who else might be listening in.
