Renaissance Festival - Huzzah, huzzah!

At the 19th Annual Renaissance Festival, spectators are transported to a different place and era.
The 30-acre festival is filled with 200 quaint village shops, 12 stages of non-stop entertainment, an arena for full-contact armored jousting, kitchens, pubs, and human powered rides and games.
The European country fair features an array of knights, rogues, royalty and craftsmen.

Over 500 brightly, colored costumed actors, dancers and musicians populate the bustling fair grounds to ensure a memorable time for nearly 250,000 visitors who visit yearly for the medieval magic and mayhem.

The festival offers a varitey of entertainment options ranging from the Syrene Bellydancers, knights on charging horses and jousting one another, Three Guys and a Bunch of Drums and the ever popular comedy shows: The Ded Bob Show, The Tortuga Twins and Don Juan and Miguel.

The 16th century festival even features a six course feast known as the Pleasure Feast. The two hour long feast presents live music, comedy entertainment, all one can eat and drink, plus festival gifts and souvenirs.

The festival is currently running every weekend now through April 1.
