Cage fighting kudos
Thanks for that article about mixed martial arts. MMA has become huge in the last year and thanks to gyms like Arizona Combat Sports, Arizona has been able to produce some very talented fighters.
I really enjoyed the piece on mixed martial arts. The front picture was awesome.Muay thai and jiu jitsu are great sports to get involved with and UFC really is gaining lots of popularity. Nice to see some locals doing so well.
Sept. 11 views splitI highly disagree with the Sept. 12 issue’s Legend’s View regarding Sept. 11 commercialization. When did supporting our troops ever become “too much”? Think about that. We should always remember Sept. 11 in any way, shape or form.
I agree with your view on page 6. It’s become a bit too much. I think people just want to have their voice heard and sound better than everyone else. But I do think it was important to remember it on the 5th year anniversary. That’s all I wanted to say, thanks, please print my letter!
Yay for SudokuI receive the Mesa Legend via the East Valley Tribune. I enjoyed the Sudoku section, please continue to publish that. Perhaps a crossword puzzle would be nice too?
