Pay attention, please

To all those who think their professors are giving them bad grades, I have an idea that may help. Pay attention in class! You paid for the class and book most likely out of your own pocket. Get your money’s worth.

Take advantage of what your professor has to teach you. You may not always agree on the approach or method of teaching but at least put in some effort so can get something out of it.

By paying attention in class, you’re giving respect to your professor. By giving them respect, they’ll give you respect in return. They will listen to your concerns genuinely and do everything they can to help.

So basically, you get what you give. You give the full attention they expect and they will give you their full attention back by helping in any way possible to succeed.

Go to class ready to take in everything you can from your professor. Don’t text message, read for another class or do other homework, don’t fall asleep and by all means don’t leave early.

This is your education. Make the most of it and get the best out of it.
