Jan. 17 at 9:09 p.m. - College Safety responded to a classroom where a student fainted and injured himself falling.
Jan. 18 at 4:49 p.m. - College Safety Officers responded to a fight call in front of the Life Science Building. No injuries.
Jan. 18 at 11:15 p.m. - College Safety took a report of a hit and run accident in Lot I. There was no suspect information.
Jan. 18 at 12:05 p.m. - College Safety located three non-students who were attempting to sell stolen books at the bookstore. The books were recovered and Mesa PD arrested one suspect.
Jan. 23 at 7:20 a.m. - A student injured his fingers while lifting weights in the HIC center.
Jan. 22 at 10:48 a.m. - College Safety took a book theft report from the bookstore. A suspect who had attempted to sell the stolen book at the TextBook store was identified. Followed up investigation developed enough evidence and Mesa PD was called in to assist.
Jan. 23 at 2 p.m. - There was a non injury hit-and-run accident in Lot E. College Safety investigated the accident and located a suspect who admitted to the accident and Mesa PD was contacted.
Jan. 23 at 9:21 p.m. - An unknown suspect stole a vehicle in Phoenix, drove the vehicle to the south lots at MCC and left it abandoned. The suspect then smashed out the window of one of our student’s vehicle and stole it. Mesa PD was called to recover the stolen vehicle and take another stolen vehicle report.
