Equipment
Only Facutly and Instructors may check out
equipment. However students may use certain
equipment in house at DW135. Please place
orders at least 24 hours in advance and discuss
your order with the staff if possible.We want
to be sure you have the right equipment for
your needs and that we have the time to review
the equipment operation with you before class.
Orders can be placed in person or by calling
(480) 654-7705.
Delivery Policies
and Procedures
Equipment can be requested by phone at (480)
654-7705 or by e-mail. It is necessary to
provide 24 hour advance notice to request
equipment for a delivery to classrooms.
Special Event
Set ups
Often there are guest speakers or large groups
that require microphones, sound systems or
other special equipment. Technical support
is available for these events on request.

Campus
Cable
The campus cable network is
a television cable system that distributes
videotape playbacks, news and other cable
services, a student information bulletin board,
satellite teleconferences, open captioning
programs for the hearing impaired and video
based distance learning classes. The library
and most campus classrooms have viewing capability
of the cable system.

Channel used
for Video Playbacks (Channel 20)
Faculty and students may request a video program
be played back on the campus cable network
by calling the Media Center at 47705. When
the desired item is found in the On Line Public
Catalog (OPAC), it is important to note the
call number, which will help greatly when
locating the material.
Student Information Bulletin Board - Channel
18
Information about Mesa Community College Services
is available 24 hours on the Student Bulletin
Board Channel 18. Included are campus maps,
departmental hours and a list of special events.
Satellite Services
- Intercampus Video Link
Satellite channels provide programming such
PBS resource programming and special topic
teleconferences. There are many teleconferences
available that your department may be interested
in purchasing. The Media Center can receive
and distribute signals throughout the campus
as well as intercampus and will help coordinate
