TLTR held its kickoff meeting in early October and is pleased to Announce that Jeremy Venema, English Department Faculty, was selected as the chair for the 2004/2005 school year.

The committee has two main goals for this year:
•  The first goal is the support of the new district Ocotillo structure  by hosting such events as the Emerging Technologies Discussion  held at MCC on October 26th, and the Reusable Learning Objects discussion Scheduled at MCC for November 30.

• The second goal is the improvement and enhancement of teaching, learning, and technology-related conversations and communications on the MCC campus. Under consideration as evidence of this goal is a technology retreat, similar to the one that was held last year, during the spring semester.
