How crazy is your work day when all of the above are things that identify you to all of your different systems?

MCC is introducing a new employee id card system that WILL make your life much easier. The ID card consists of an accumulation of identifiers for the systems we use every day, and it will raise awareness to public safety issues.

In the first version of the card, employees will be able to:

•  Identify the employee to the college community as well as their title, and the department they work in.

•  Allow employees to check out library books without having to use a community borrower's card.

•  Operate proximity enabled doors and parking structures

•  Use the library print solution

•  Have a quick reference to the MCCD Employee ID field for authentication to Voice over IP (VoIP) applications, currently being used at Red Mountain on the Cisco IP Phones

More features will follow as we mature our connectivity with outside contractors such as Jazzland, Ikon, Follett, and Aramark.
