We've heard some good ones! How about this: If file names on the new MCC server have capital letters in them they won't work!! I've got LOTS of links on my homepage to files that have capital letters. What do I do now???"

This is one example of the many rumors about the new MCC server that are making their way through the MCC community. Before you act on any unofficial information (i.e. rumors) about the new server, find out if it is accurate.

If you are confused it is likely that someone else is as well. Further Note: The Programmers and WebDev team have the scoop on this rumor. It's totally false! If your links to your files are working on the old users server, they will work when you transfer them to the new homedirs server. No problem with capital letters in the file name!!!

Just be sure if you name a file Mydocument.htm you have to make the link EXACTLY the same -- mydocument.htm is different and the server will return a 404 (unable to find the page) error.
