Program Activities:
Prague contains one of the world's most pristine and varied collections of architecture, from Art Nouveau to Baroque, Renaissance, Cubic, Gothic, Neo-Classical and Ultra-Modern. Some of the most well-known sights that you will have the opportunity to visit include: Old Town Square (a market square since the 11th century), Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, Charles Bridge, the Jewish Quarter, and Wenceslaus Square. You can also enjoy listening to Anton Dvorak's “New World Symphony" in one of various concert halls around the city.
Cesky Krumlov
Included in the program is a visit to Cesky Krumlov, with its Old Town almost encircled by the Vltava River. Cesky Krumlov is a jewel of historical architecture in Southern Bohemia. The town castle has preserved its medieval center as no other town in the region and is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Most of the architecture of the old town and castle region dates from 14th through 17th centuries. The town's structures are primarily in Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles.
Enjoy Prague!
Participants will have afternoons and weekends to fully appreciate the delightful Czech cultural highlights – music, art, architecture, and friendship.
