This program is part of the Exercise Science Department.
Are you passionate about health and wellness? Interested in a career in the health field? Or do you simply want to learn more about how to live a healthier lifestyle? Mesa Community College has classes to fit your needs!
The Health Science program at MCC is ideal for those who wish to pursue healthy-lifestyle interests. We offer entry-level courses, such as First Aid/CPR, Healthful Living, Prevention and Treatment of Athletic Injuries, and more. These courses can be a stepping stone to degrees in Health Promotion, Healthy Lifestyle Coaching, Public Health or Athletic Training.
Need to recertify in CPR but don’t want to take a full class? Mesa offers a half credit, one-day re-certification class for the American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR course.
Meet with an Advisor
Before signing up for classes, you’ll want to meet with our department academic advisor, Anita Dusek. Schedule an appointment by email at email@example.com or by phone at 480-461-7551. Together you’ll lay out a program or career path that suits you best. This step is essential to your academic success, so we recommend not skipping it.
