College Policy:

Students may repeat a course previously completed at a Maricopa Community College in order to improve a grade. Upon written petition, only the higher grade that has a point value will be credited and used in computing the grade point average. Both grades will appear on the permanent record.

Students may repeat a course. All grades that have a point value will appear on the student's permanent record. Students shall take no more than four semesters of work in any course.

Download and complete the Petition to Repeat a Course form and return it to the Records & Registration office.

--Be sure to sign and date the request.
