Our Mission Statement ...

We seek to embody, encourage and educate for "Engagement" within a safe and interactive environment that embraces our entire campus community.

The Latest News ...

Who we are ...

We are a new gathering for students on campus, dedicated to an ever-deeper awareness of our various cultures. We want to know all our various histories and perspectives, in order to encourage deeper relationships among them.

What we do ...

We will work closely together with the many other clubs on campus, to bridge the barriers between our own comfortable places and that which seems foreign to us. We will learn from each other, and engage each other. As we do, we all will become better and we will create a better life for our various cultures and a shared wider culture. We have summed up our effort in four words:

Introductions | Invitations | Information | Interaction

The SCE Honors Experience provides the framework for honors students in Philosophy & Religious Studies courses at MCC.

In Spring '08, SCE will again carry out an information and sign-up drive for One.org, "the Campaign to Make Poverty History."

When and where we meet ...

SCE's engagement forum, The House of Wisdom, meets alternating Wednesday mornings, from 11:00-11:50 a.m. See any PHI or REL instructor for themes, exact dates, and location details, or send an email ...
