Subject: Self Study TGIF

Hello Everyone,

TGIF - and the Friday before Spring Break! Can life get any better? Many of you are busy writing your working papers; right on!

Remember, your goal is to examine the data related to your component(s), select the most salient and compelling evidence, and summarize it. Write as much as you think is necessary to convey the major points - within reason, of course. Most importantly, write in a way that comes natural to you and fits your style. Given that, here's a few general suggestions:
  • Provide a balance between description and evaluation,
  • Use simple formatting: bullets; headings; minimize indents and tabs,
  • Formal citation styles are not necessary, just use parentheses,
  • Rough drafts are fine.
If you have questions or want some feedback on your progress, let us know.

Happy Spring Break!
Gayla
