As a committee member, you'll want to be in the know when it comes to the self-study website. The site aims to serve several goals - inform folks about accreditation and our self study, provide an overview of the self-study process and activities, and - eventually, be a resource to the visiting team. Special recognition is due Jim Tipton for helping me manage this thing! While there is more that needs to be done, you might want to surf it a bit. Here are some tips: To find it or direct someone there - simply add selfstudy/ after the MCC home url as in http://www.mc.maricopa.edu/selfstudy/ OR from MCC's home page, click Employee Web, then click Accreditation Self Study from upper left. Once there, check out the roll-over links on the left. One critical link is The Self Study. From here, relevant links are posted in the upper white bar. You can access the self-study meeting PowerPoints from the Meetings link, then Self-Study Committee as in http://www.mc.maricopa.edu/selfstudy/committees/meetings/selfstudycomm.html Lastly for now, you can access the Self-Study Newsletters from the left roll-over link called Information Updates as in http://www.mc.maricopa.edu/selfstudy/updates.html Speaking of the Newsletter, a new edition will be distributed next week.
